Your Wellbeing
You are responsible for your own wellbeing throughout the seminar and for the value you derive from it. Insight UK has found that maximum value is obtained through full participation. While the seminar is designed to be rewarding, you may at times find aspects of the personal exploration challenging or uncomfortable. This is a normal part of a serious developmental process.
Insight UK does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, or crisis-intervention services and does not assume responsibility for addressing physical, mental, or emotional conditions.
If you have any questions about your ability to participate, please contact us before registering.
If you are currently under the care of a mental health professional, or if you or anyone in your immediate family has a history of mental illness or a serious emotional disorder, you are strongly encouraged to obtain clearance from a licensed mental health professional before attending. If you have doubts about your ability to manage sustained emotional engagement over several days, Insight UK recommends you do not attend at this time.
Each day of the seminar includes a meal break in the late afternoon or early evening. You may wish to bring a light snack for the day.
Participants with medical or accessibility-related needs requiring accommodations must notify Insight UK in writing before the seminar begins so that arrangements can be considered.
Neurodiversity and Trauma-Informed Consideration
Insight UK acknowledges that individuals process experiences differently and may identify as neurodivergent or have a history of trauma. Our seminars are educational and experiential in nature. They are not therapy, counselling, clinical treatment, or crisis support. Facilitators are not acting in the capacity of mental health professionals and do not provide mental health services or operate in any licensed clinical capacity.
We strongly recommend that anyone with a history of trauma, emotional sensitivity, or a diagnosis related to neurodivergence consult with a qualified healthcare provider before attending. Your provider can help you determine whether participation in this setting is appropriate for you at this time.
By choosing to attend, participants acknowledge that they are solely responsible for their mental, emotional, and physical well-being during the seminar.
Physical Contact in Seminar Processes
Some experiential processes in Insight seminars may include brief, non-invasive physical contact such as hand-holding, supportive touches on the shoulder or back, or other gestures, as part of the seminar's designed exercises. Participation in any physical contact is voluntary at all times and will never be required.
If you are not comfortable with physical contact for any reason, please notify Insight UK staff in writing before the seminar begins so that appropriate boundaries can be supported.
Emotional Distress and Participation Guidelines
Insight UK acknowledges that personal growth work can evoke strong emotions. While the seminar is designed to provide a respectful and supported environment, participants are responsible for managing their own wellbeing and participation.
If you choose to leave the seminar space due to emotional distress or any other reason, please communicate with a facilitator or staff member before doing so. If you leave for an extended period, you may be invited to complete the seminar at a future date. The cancellation and refund policy will apply in such cases.
